David de Gea – Couldn’t really do anything about any of West Ham’s goals. 5/10
Antonio Valencia – Looked menacing going forward but abysmal defensively. Just not good enough. 3/10
Chris Smalling – Dealt with Andy Carroll well for the most part. 5/10
Daley Blind – Shocking. His defensive positioning was way off, and he got bullied by West Ham’s front men. 2/10
Marcos Rojo – Cannot cross a ball to save his life. Gave far too many free-kicks away and cannot defend. 2/10
Morgan Schneiderlin – Hooked at half-time after being sloppy in possession. Partly at fault for West Ham’s opener. 4/10
Ander Herrera – His worst game in a United shirt. Couldn’t pick out a pass, looked toothless and gave away so many needless free-kicks. 2/10
Wayne Rooney – When United were in the ascendency he looked brilliant, but when times were tough he shied away. 4/10
Juan Mata – Shown lovely feet in in the build-up to United’s first, but honestly, thats about all he did. 4/10
Anthony Martial – The shining light in a poor season. He’s incredible, and almost dragged United through single-handedly thanks to two stunning goals. 8/10
Marcus Rashford – Very isolated up top. Played his part in United’s first goal. 6/10
Subs:
Michael Carrick – Didn’t do an awful lot.
Jesse Lingard – Not enough time to mark.
Adnan Januzaj – Not enough time to mark.
