Manchester United Football Club need a big summer, in terms of both incomings and outgoings.
Atop the list for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has to be sorting out Paul Pogba’s immediate future.
Anyway, according to ESPN, the 26-year-old star is still in Solskjaer’s pre-season plans despite his uncertain future.
Pogba is yet to report back for training ahead of the tour as he has been given extra time off due to international commitments over the summer.
Apparently, both Juventus and Real Madrid remain interested in signing the 26-year-old, despite United remaining adamant that their midfield superstar isn’t going anywhere.
With three years left on his contract, the ball is firmly in United’s court. However, it is a tough situation. If Pogba kicks up a fuss then the Red Devils may be forced into taking a lower bid than they would have liked.
It’s easy for me to say, but I’d make Pogba sit in the reserves if he doesn’t want to be here. Eventually, a suitable offer will come in United’s direction. Either that or the Frenchman will come back begging with his tail between his legs as he won’t want to remain out of action for too long…
