According to Sky Sports, the deal to take 18-year old Nick Powell to Old Trafford is pretty much tied up barring any last minus issues. The deal agreed is believed to be somewhere in the region of the £8million mark after various add-ons and bonuses depending on appearances and achievements.
The youngster helped his team gain promotion into league one via the playoffs, with Powell helping himself to 14 goals and 7 assists in 38 league games, including this screamer in the playoff final.
