Man United’s pre-season wraps up with a game against Everton tomorrow. Here’s the all-important predicted line-up for that clash.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are in a weird spot. The fact that last weekend’s pre-season game against Preston was cancelled due to COVID-19 cases leaves some players a little light in terms of match fitness.
That places extra emphasis on this game against Everton – our final pre-season fixture before the serious stuff starts next week. This is likely the only opportunity for regular first-teamers to get some minutes in the tank, so we’re expecting to see a very strong squad for this one.

David de Gea has been back in amongst it during the Scotland training camp and he’ll make his first appearance of pre-season here.
The whole back four are also in the same boat, with Luke Shaw and Diogo Dalot starting as the full-backs. It’ll be a great opportunity to see what both of these guys can do. Victor Lindelof is included from the off, as is Harry Maguire. Sadly, this game comes a little too soon for Raphael Varane.
Scott McTominay sits at the midfield’s base, as he’ll be tasked with doing all the dirty work, leaving quality players like Donny van de Beek and Bruno Fernandes to cause havoc up at the other end of the field.
Here’s what we’ve all been waiting for; Jadon Sancho starting a game in Manchester United colours for the first time. He’ll have Daniel James over on the other wing, with Anthony Martial starting up top.
