Manchester United definitely haven’t had the start to 2020 that they would have liked. Three games, two losses, one draw. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is undoubtedly starting to feel the pressure.

This weekend, the Reds have a chance to right some wrongs and get back to winning ways with a game against bottom-of-the-table Norwich City. Make no mistake, The Canaries shouldn’t be taken lightly, though this is three points United simply have to get.

In terms of injuries, the squad has been majorly depleted. That said, United should have more than enough firepower to come out on top. Anyway, let’s get right into the starting line-up…

Predicted Man United XI vs Norwich City:

David de Gea will obviously continue in goal, though he’ll be hoping for a quieter afternoon than the one in midweek.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka starts at right-back, with young Brandon Williams getting the nod ahead of Luke Shaw. Victor Lindelof starts, as does Harry Maguire, who could well be fit despite contrasting reports.

Nemanja Matic will be feeling rested after being named as a substitute against City, while Fred will also play in the middle of the park. Angel Gomes makes a rare start as simply put, he can’t do any worse than the likes of Jesse Lingard and Juan Mata.

Anthony Martial will lead the line, with Marcus Rashford to his left and Mason Greenwood over on the right. This front three should be looking to stick a few past Daniel Farke’s men – while sending out a top-four message in the process.
