For Manchester United, the games are starting to come thick and fast. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men head into the hectic winter schedule with work to do, though a game in the Europa League could serve as a welcome relief.
On Thursday night, Partizan Belgrade head to Old Trafford and a home victory for the Red Devils would all-but ensure their place into the last 32 of the competition come next February.
Anyway, ahead of the match, we’ve got our predicted starting XI for the encounter here:
As expected, changes aplenty will happen as Solskjaer looks to keep his squad fresh.
Sergio Romero will get the nod in between the sticks, giving David de Gea some time to rest and recuperate.
Although I’d love to see more of Brandon Williams, Ashley Young is suspended for the game against Brighton this weekend, so I think he’ll play here. Aaron Wan-Bissaka will start as the right-back, with Marcos Rojo and Phil Jones the centre-back combination.
Scott McTominay has been superb of late so he’ll continue. Fred will also start as he continues to find his feet, while James Garner will start his second senior game as a United player.
Anthony Martial needs games as he looks to return to full fitness so he’ll lead the line. Mason Greenwood will make his first start in about a month while Daniel James completes the front three.
