Our 20-time Premier League champions have been electric since lockdown ended with the Red Devils looking to force their way into the top-four. Next up, a trip to the South coast. Check out our predicted Man United XI vs Southampton.
Credit where it’s due, Ralph Hasenhuttl has his side playing some lovely football at the moment. Make no mistake about it, this won’t be an easy three points.
With that in mind, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has to be careful. For this one, making wholesale changes would have to be considered a major risk. The boys are in great form and confidence is through the roof. With that in mind, we could see an all-too-familiar starting line-up here.
Check out our predicted Man United XI vs Southampton here:
David de Gea will start in between the sticks and no doubt he’s expecting a far busier evening than he had last time out.
Luke Shaw is beginning to show his immense talents from that left-back slot so it only makes sense to keep the confidence flowing. Aaron Wan-Bissaka plays on the opposite flank. Captain Harry Maguire will have to keep a watchful eye on Danny Ings during this one. He’ll have Victor Lindelof to help him out with the in-form Englishman.
Nemanja Matic’s form has been pretty flawless recently. The Serb definitely deserved his new contract. He’ll continue to sit just in front of the back four, allowing the ever-improving duo of Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba to continue to do their thing.
Anthony Martial didn’t look best-pleased at being subbed off against Aston Villa, though he’ll have a chance to grab himself a goal here. Marcus Rashford will play off the left, with starboy Mason Greenwood over on the right.
