Manchester United are back in Premier League action this coming Sunday, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side looking to continue with their positive form and move up the table.
This weekend, the Red Devils visit Watford – in a game where there simply can be no excuses. United are well-rested against a struggling side. Here, three points are an absolute must if the 20-time Premier League champions have any hopes at finishing in the top four.
Ahead of the game, we’ve picked our predicted United XI for the fixture. Most of it is pretty self-explanatory, but let’s give you the run-through nonetheless.
David de Gea comes back into the team after a well-earned midweek break. I’d imagine he’ll be relatively quiet during this one, though I guess you ever know.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka starts in the right-back slot, with the young Brandon Williams coming into the team opposite him. Harry Maguire will probably captain the side, he’ll start next to Victor Lindelof.
Scott McTominay has been sensational this term. He’s come on leaps and bounds and we’re looking to him to provide that bite from midfield. Fred will also play as the Brazilian international is another who’s improving.
Marcus Rashford is in the absolute form of his life and he’ll be feeling supremely confident going into this one. Daniel James plays off the right with Jesse Lingard starting in the #10 role. It would have been easy for me to pick Mason Greenwood to lead the line, though Anthony Martial will likely get the nod.
