Predicted Man United XI vs Wolves (FA Cup replay)

Manchester United and Wolverhampton Wanderers played out a drab 0-0 draw at Molineux just over a week ago, with the Red Devils still looking for their first win against Nuno Espirito Santo’s men since their top-flight return.

Well, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer gets another bite at the cherry on Wednesday night when Wolves visit Old Trafford for the FA Cup replay.

With games now coming thick and fast, expect Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to make at least a few changes for this one – particularly when a crunch game against Liverpool just on the horizon. Anyway, let’s get right into the team we think the Baby Faced Assassin will opt for…

Predicted Man United XI vs Wolves:

Sergio Romero has always been a reliable back-up and that won’t change here. Why not give the Argentine another opportunity to impress? He definitely deserves it.

Luke Shaw is another who’ll come back into the side here, with Brandon Williams being saved for the Red Devils’ game against Liverpool next weekend. Aaron Wan-Bissaka starts at right-back, while both Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof play.

Nemanja Matic starts at the base of the midfield, with Fred playing just in front and Juan Mata getting back-to-back starts for the first time in a fair while. He definitely warrants a place in the team after a quality performance last time out.

Mason Greenwood comes into the team, looking to score for the fourth home fixture in a row. Daniel James also comes back into the mix in place of Marcus Rashford – who should be rested. Anthony Martial leads the line.
