Predicted Man Utd XI vs Arsenal (Premier League away, 2020/21)

The Red Devils have to bounce back and send out a real message tomorrow. Ahead of the game, it’s time for our predicted Man Utd XI vs Arsenal.

In terms of games where you’re desperate for a result, it certainly could have been easier than taking on our North London rivals. Alas, looking at recent form, you’d still fancy us to go to The Emirates and get a result if we play well.

For Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, this is a real test of his managerial skills. Lose here and suddenly we’re seven points off the pace. I’d imagine that’s probably too big-of-a-gap to bridge.

Win, though, and it’s a result that can spur that whole squad on to try and push forward once more. With the vast array of talent we have, you’d hope that we can get the job done here. Anyway, let’s get right into the team…

Predicted Man Utd XI vs Arsenal in full:

David de Gea will obviously start this one in between the sticks, in a game during which he’ll likely face plenty of shots on his goal.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka plays at right-back, with Luke Shaw coming back into the team in place of Alex Telles. Harry Maguire is the starting centre-half, he’ll partner Victor Lindelof.

Scott McTominay’s fresh legs will be needed in midfield for this one, while the now customary pairing of Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes are always going to start games like this when fit.

Edinson Cavani simply has to lead the line at The Emirates on Sunday. No ifs, buts or maybes. Marcus Rashford will play on the left-wing, with Mason Greenwood completing the front three.

Anthony Martial, Fred, Donny van de Beek and Juan Mata will be the game-changers on the bench if Solskjaer needs them. Let’s hope we’re winning the game and they’re not required, though…
