Our predicted Man Utd XI vs Burnley is a much-changed team from the one that squeezed past Watford in the FA Cup this past weekend.
Win this one and we go top of the Premier League. Yeah, you read that correctly. After a few long, hard months, Manchester United finally play their game in hand against Burnley.
Sean Dyche’s men may be hovering above the relegation zone, though trips to Turf Moor are never easy and tomorrow evening will be no different.
The good news is that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was able to rest up many of his regular starters for the cup game on Saturday – meaning they should be feeling fit, fresh and ready to go.
There are a couple of injury concerns for the Baby Faced Assassin to deal with, however. Eric Bailly, Luke Shaw, Paul Pogba and Victor Lindelof are all injured. Who knows whether they’ll be fit and ready to go here…?
Anyway, let’s get right into the all-important team news and see how we think Solskjaer will line up.
Predicted Man Utd XI vs Burnley
After being allowed some time off for the last couple of games, David de Gea will come back and play in between the sticks here.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka will start at right-back in this one. We’re unsure as to the severity of Luke Shaw’s injury, so we fully expect Alex Telles to play in this one. Harry Maguire always starts when fit in the Premier League. We’ve gone with Axel Tuanzebe as his partner.
Nemanja Matic’s experience will be massive for the Red Devils here, while a fresh Bruno Fernandes comes back into the side. Paul Pogba makes up the midfield trio.
Edinson Cavani will start as Manchester United’s lead striker following his three-game ban. Marcus Rashford will also be involved from the off, with Mason Greenwood completing the front three.
Donny van de Beek, Anthony Martial and Juan Mata are the real game-changers off the bench. Let’s hope Solskjaer doesn’t need to utilise them though!
