Predicted Man Utd XI vs Fulham (Premier League away, 2020/21)

With games coming thick and fast, it’s time for our predicted Man Utd XI vs Fulham.

Manchester United may start this game in second place should Manchester City win their game in hand. That in itself brings its own pressure.

However, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side simply have to win this one. These are the fixtures where three points need to be delivered if you’re serious about challenging for major honours.

That said, Fulham has been in pretty good shape of late so this game will be trickier than people think. Solskjaer has some big team news decisions to make in regards to keeping his key stars fresh. Those choices are made even harder due to the fact that we play Liverpool again at the weekend.

Personally, I’d much prefer to win this game as opposed to the FA Cup clash against the scousers, but let’s see which way Solskjaer plays it. With that in mind, let’s get right into the all-important team news…

Predicted Man Utd XI vs Fulham in full:

Dean Henderson comes back into the side here, as he continues to rotate with David de Gea.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka will play at right-back, pretty much because he’s the only option right now. Luke Shaw will start. He was United’s best player at the weekend so he deserves to keep his place. Harry Maguire when fit, starts. Eric Bailly completes the back four.

Nemanja Matic will be brought in here, allowing Scott McTominay to rest up for Liverpool in the FA Cup next weekend. Bruno Fernandes looked shattered at the weekend but he’ll continue to be the heartbeat of this team alongside Paul Pogba.

Edinson Cavani looks a certainty to lead the line at Craven Cottage tomorrow night. I also expect Mason Greenwood to come back into the team. Anthony Martial completes the line-up.

Marcus Rashford needs a rest so he’ll take his place on the bench alongside the likes of Fred, Donny van de Beek, Victor Lindelof and Alex Telles. Let’s hope we’re in good shape and these guys aren’t needed in the second half.
