The Red Devils are back dining at European football’s top table. Tomorrow night, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s boys play the French champions. Ahead of the game, it’s time for our predicted Man Utd XI vs PSG.
It feels good to be back in the best competition European football has to offer, huh? Well, there’s nothing like being thrown back into the fire. Tomorrow nights’ game against Paris Saint-Germain will be a true test of the Red Devils’ mettle.
*That* night in Paris eventually led to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s permanent hiring. No doubt the Baby Faced Assassin will return to the Parc des Princes with fond memories but tomorrow evening, it’s about doing a professional job and bringing a positive result back to Manchester.
Injuries, suspensions and generally trying to keep his players fresh leave the manager with several decisions to make. After much debating, this is the starting line-up we think we’ll see tomorrow…
Predicted Man Utd XI vs PSG in full:
David de Gea will play in between the sticks after an excellent outing against Newcastle United on Saturday.
Alex Telles comes in for his debut now that he’s had a few more training sessions under his belt. I can’t wait to see him in action. Opposite him, Aaron Wan-Bissaka starts at right-back. The Victor Lindelof and Harry Maguire combination still feels like the best United can field at the moment.
Nemanja Matic will be feeling well-rested but no doubt he’ll be tested during this one. Bruno Fernandes simply has to be involved from the get-go, while Donny van de Beek has surely done enough to play from the first minute here.
Daniel James’ speed could be vital on the counter-attack, the same can be said for Marcus Rashford. Edinson Cavani probably isn’t ready to play just yet, while Anthony Martial’s domestic ban means he’ll be one of the first names on the team-sheet here.
