Predicted Man Utd XI vs Wolves (Premier League away, 2020/21)

Our final Premier League game of the season is here, so let’s get right into our predicted Man Utd XI vs Wolves.

Our season of progress comes to its conclusion tomorrow at Molineux. A second-place finish has been secured, with Champions League qualification far easier to come by this time around.

Obviously, all eyes are on the Europa League final and I’d be surprised if we see any regular first-teamers anywhere near the starting line-up for this one. Why risk injury when there is absolutely nothing to play for?

With that in mind, you’d expect to see Ole Gunnar Solskjaer delve deep into the fountain of youth at Old Trafford. He’s already hinted a pair of youngsters will be involved in some capacity here.

Anyway, without further ado, this is what we believe our final Premier League line-up of the season will look like…

Predicted Man Utd XI vs Wolves in full:

Dean Henderson will start I between the sticks as the Englishman looks to make one final push to stake his claim for the job in the big final.

I’ve gone for Brandon Williams at right-back as realistically, he’s the only option not named Aaron Wan-Bissaka. Alex Telles starts at left-back, finishing a decent debut campaign in Manchester. The battle to be Victor Lindelof’s partner in the final all comes down to this. Whoever plays better out of Axel Tuanzebe and Eric Bailly will get the nod.

Nemanja Matic brings some experience to an extremely junior midfield, with Hannibal Mejbri and Shola Shoretire making their first starts at senior level.

Donny van de Beek will play in that number nine role, with Solskjaer not wanting to risk any of Marcus Rashford, Edinson Cavani or Mason Greenwood. Amad Diallo will be given his first Premier League start, with Anthony Elanga completing the team.
