Our predicted MUFC XI for a huge Premier League home game vs Aston Villa is now in.

Manchester United Football Club are desperate for a victory here. After the Sir Jim Ratcliffe news broke earlier this week, what better way to kick off this new era than with a win against one of the most in-form sides in the league?

Erik ten Hag will be feeling the pressure. Make no mistake about it. The Dutchman will be gagging for all three points here just to alleviate the pressure a little bit. It’s up to the gaffer to get his team selection spot on, get his tactics right and ensure his in-game substitutions are happening at the right time with the right personnel coming in.

Aston Villa will be the favourites. At Old Trafford. Yes, you did read that correctly. Surely that will motivate the lads in that Red Devils dressing room? You’d think they’ll be trying hard to prove the doubters wrong, despite the fact that confidence will be low.

Without further ado, let’s give you the full rundown of our predicted team for this one…

Check out our predicted MUFC XI vs Aston Villa in full here:

Andre Onana has been better domestically than in Europe, so let’s hope the man from Cameroon can play well here.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka starts in the right-back position, with the Englishman set for a tough afternoon. Over on the left, Luke Shaw will start as per usual. Raphael Varane should be fit to return here, with the Frenchman partnering Jonny Evans at the heart of defence.

Kobbie Mainoo looks like a shining light in these times of struggle. Let’s hope the young midfielder can put his mistake from last time out firmly in the rearview. Sofyan Amrabat will play next to the youngster, with Bruno Fernandes completing the trio.

Rasmus Hojlund is the only fit striker at this point in time, with Alejandro Garnacho starting on the left. Marcus Rashford will come back into the XI, but off the right-hand side.

Come on lads!
