With games now coming thick and fast, it’s time for our predicted MUFC XI vs Brentford.
Manchester United have won five Premier League games in the last four months. Whatever way you dress it up, that’s just not good enough. Eventually, it cost Ole Gunnar Solskjaer his job. Now, Ralf Rangnick is struggling to get the best out of these players.
Obviously, the German needs time to implement his ideas and tactics, though six months isn’t an awful lot of time to do that. Anyway, the former RB Leipzig boss will be doing all he can to deliver the goods.
Next up is a game against Brentford. Make no mistake about it, if we do not play to our potential here, there’s every chance United lose this game. That’s how impressive Brentford have been this season. Anyway, let’s get right into the all-important team news…
Check out our predicted MUFC XI vs Brentford in full here:
In goal, it seems pretty obvious that David de Gea will keep his place. The superstar Spaniard has comfortably won the battle against Dean Henderson, showing us all he’s back to his brilliant best these days.
Diogo Dalot has overtaken Aaron Wan-Bissaka as the star right-back at this moment in time, though Luke Shaw should come back into the team in the left-back position following suspension. Harry Maguire will play and captain United, with Raphael Varane making up the back four.
Scott McTominay should be feeling fresh here following his own suspension so he will be amongst the first names on the team sheet. Fred will get the nod, as will Bruno Fernandes.
Mason Greenwood probably did just about enough to keep both Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford out of the starting line-up here, while Anthony Elanga deserves to play again following an excellent outing.
Cristiano Ronaldo will come back from injury and lead the line. We’re going to need the GOAT to be at his absolute best in this one.
