Ralf Rangnick will take charge of his first game, with our predicted MUFC XI vs Crystal Palace now in…
A dawning of a new era begins today at Manchester United Football Club. Ralf Rangnick took charge of his first training session just yesterday, so it’ll be intriguing to see how the Red Devils set up here.
The task for the German hasn’t been made easier due to the depleted squad with injuries galore. Raphael Varane, Paul Pogba and Edinson Cavani were always going to miss this one. Reports yesterday claimed Cristiano Ronaldo is struggling, too. None of these guys will feature today.
We’re expecting to see some form of high pressing game deployed here, so I’m looking forward to seeing a hard-working eleven named by our 63-year-old manager. Anyway, let’s get right into it…
Check out the predicted MUFC XI vs Crystal Palace in full here:
David de Gea will keep his place in between the sticks and it’ll be interesting to see whether he tries to play out from the back a little more.
Diogo Dalot did more than enough to start this one at right-back after an excellent outing in midweek, while Alex Telles is the same over on the left-hand side of defence. Harry Maguire will start at the heart of our defence, alongside Eric Bailly.
Fred’s energy and tenacity make him a player with a serious chance at improving under the new regime. I’ve also gone for an attacking midfield pair of Donny van de Beek and Bruno Fernandes. Let’s hope they can cause havoc.
In Ronaldo’s absence, I think it’ll be Marcus Rashford tasked with leading the line. He’ll have Anthony Martial to his left and Jadon Sancho on his right. This front three has bags of potential.
Come on you Reds!
