Predicted MUFC XI vs Everton (Premier League away, 2021/22)

Our predicted MUFC XI vs Everton is now in, with the Red Devils making a few changes.

Manchester United are now firmly outsiders looking in when it comes to Champions League qualification. Winning just half of your home Premier League games will do that.

Alas, the show must go on for eight more games. Manchester United simply have to finish strong, if only to restore some faith amongst the Old Trafford Faithful.

Performances have been poor, both as a team and on an individual level. However, we have to come back this weekend and send out a strong message against Everton.

Despite The Toffees being in serious relegation trouble, this will be a tough game. Everton have plenty to play for whereas it looks like our lads are already off on holiday. Anyway, let’s get right into the all-important team news.

Check out our predicted MUFC XI vs Everton in full here:

David de Gea is going to start as per usual. The Spaniard has been up and down this season but he’s our undisputed number one as things stand.

Diogo Dalot’s attacking expertise should be on full display here, in a game where the Portugal international should firmly be on the front foot throughout. Alex Telles starts in the left-back slot here, with Luke Shaw set to be missing with injury. Raphael Varane starts alongside captain Harry Maguire at the heart of our defence.

I’ve gone for Fred in that holding midfield role, with Rangnick choosing to bench Scott McTominay who was pretty dreadful against Leicester City. Paul Pogba plays, with Bruno Fernandes reverting to a more familiar midfield role.

Cristiano Ronaldo is back in training. He will be back out on the field this weekend following his illness. Jadon Sancho should be the first attacker named in the XI at present, though I’ve gone for Marcus Rashford over Anthony Elanga, with the Swede not having the best time of it last weekend.

Come on you Reds!
