Predicted MUFC XI vs Everton (Premier League home, 2021/22)

It’s time for our predicted MUFC XI vs Everton, as The Toffees visit Old Trafford tomorrow lunchtime.

Manchester United grabbed the bounce-back win they craved last time out, although they left it late to overcome a tough Villareal side.

With games coming thick and fast, attention quickly turns back to the bread and butter of the Premier League. A game against a tricky Everton side is in the offing this Saturday.

Make no mistake about it, our task will not be an easy one. It’s made more difficult due to Harry Maguire’s confirmed absence. That definitely gives Ole Gunnar Solskjaer something to ponder over here.

Anyway, let’s get right into the all-important team news…

Check out our predicted MUFC XI vs Everton in full here:

David de Gea obviously starts, on what was easily his best performance in quite a few years. The superstar Spaniard was truly outstanding and it was great to see him play like that.

Defensively, the team looks a little different due to injuries. Aaron Wan-Bissaka returns after a midweek absence, while Victor Lindelof starts in place of the injured Maguire. Raphael Varane plays, as does Alex Telles, with Luke Shaw’s fitness still up in the air.

Scott McTominay starts at the midfield’s base. He’ll be tasked with mopping up and doing the dirty work. I’ve gone for Jesse Lingard in midfield over Fred, with Bruno Fernandes completing the trio.

Cristiano Ronaldo obviously leads the line when he’s fit and that’s not going to change here. Paul Pogba shifts back over to the left-flank, with Mason Greenwood starting over on the right.

There’s plenty of quality on the bench if needed, with the likes of Edinson Cavani, Donny van de Beek and Jadon Sancho ready to be called upon.
