Our predicted MUFC XI for the second leg vs FC Barcelona is now in…
Manchester United Football Club take on FC Barcelona this coming Thursday, in a game with Europa League progression on the line. Make no mistake about it, this is going to be a tough fixture.
The Red Devils more than held their own in the Camp Nou. Play like that again and you’d have to feel good about the Red Devils’ chances.
In terms of the playing squad, the Reds could be in an even better position, with both Lisandro Martinez and Marcel Sabitzer available for this one. They missed the first meeting through suspension.
Anyway, let’s get right into the all-important team news for this huge encounter under the Old Trafford floodlights…
Check out our predicted MUFC XI vs FC Barcelona in full here:

David de Gea will always start in goal on these big occasions. The Spaniard has been in top form of late, so no doubt he’ll be looking to replicate that form here.
Diogo Dalot is now back fit and available. He is United’s most reliable right-back. over on the left-hand side, Luke Shaw will get the nod. Lisandro Martinez starts this huge encounter, alongside Raphael Varane. This is undoubtedly the Reds’ best back four.
Casemiro will be feeling fit and fresh for this one, which is huge from our perspective. He’s going to have to play a monster game here. He’ll partner Marcel Sabitzer, who has been good during his first few starts for the club. Bruno Fernandes plays in that number ten slot.
Wout Weghorst has come in for criticism from some sections of the fanbase, though I genuinely believe he’s been excellent on the whole. He’ll start, with Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho to his left and right respectively.
