Manchester United Football Club are looking to continue their excellent start to 2024 with a home game against Fulham.
The Cottagers always prove to be a tough opponent, with the Saturday 3pm kick-off expected to be no different for Erik ten Hag and his men.
United have been hit with another couple of serious injury blows this week, meaning Ten Hag will be forced into changing the pack somewhat. They’ll be no Luke Shaw for multiple months, while Rasmus Hojlund is out for multiple weeks.
Given that both Shaw and Hojlund were the only fit players in their respective positions, it has the potential to make things difficult for United. Anyway, without further ado, let’s give you the full rundown of our likely side for this highly important game.

Andre Onana has been better of late, with the man from Cameroon no doubt expecting a busy afternoon here.
Diogo Dalot does start at right-back. He has been in great form himself over the last couple of weeks. It feels like Victor Lindelof will start at left-back here, although it’s far from ideal. Harry Maguire and Raphael Varane start at the heart of the back four.
Casemiro will play, though he’ll be the first to admit his form hasn’t been that great since returning from injury. Kobbie Mainoo is absolutely the man of the moment. He will play. Bruno Fernandes will start and captain this United XI.
Marcus Rashford will be forced into playing as the lead striker in this match, which again is far from ideal but you always back him to do well. Over on the left, Alejandro Garnacho plays, with Omari Forson in line for a debut off the right-hand side.
