Our predicted MUFC XI for the Premier League home game vs Leeds United is now in.
Manchester United Football Club renew rivalry with their old enemy this week, with back-to-back matches against Leeds United set to be played.
The first fixture takes place under the Old Trafford floodlights this coming Wednesday, with Erik ten Hag getting a taste of this fixture for the first time.
He will not be taking on Jesse Marsch, who has lost his job over the last 24 hours. This can be looked at in one of two ways; Leeds will be less predictable here, whereas they won’t have an experienced manager in place before the two sides meet.
Sadly, United will have to play these games without midfield stalwart, Casemiro, who is absent for the next three. Anyway, our predicted team news is now in, so let’s get right into it…
Check out our predicted MUFC XI for the 2022/23 home game vs Leeds United in full here:

David de Gea starts in between the sticks, with the Spaniard in for another busy evening.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka has been good in the right-back slot of late, so it makes sense to keep that ball rolling while Diogo Dalot works back from injury. Luke Shaw starts in the left-back position. Raphael Varane continues to partner Lisandro Martinez at the heart of the back four.
Marcel Sabitzer was signed for these moments, so it absolutely makes sense to give him the start here and see what he can do. We’re going to need the Austrian to be on it from minute one, against a fast-paced Leeds side. Fred will partner the Bayern Munich loanee, with Bruno Fernandes starting slightly further up the field.
Wout Weghorst has been good in Anthony Martial’s injury absence. A goal here would do loads for his confidence. To his right and left respectively is Antony and Marcus Rashford, both of whom have been in good form recently.
