After a two-week hiatus, it’s time for our predicted MUFC XI for their game vs Leicester City.
Manchester United Football Club are back. No doubt Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been left stewing following a poor run of recent results. Dropping points to Everton last time out most definitely hurt, while the loss to Aston Villa the week prior was even more painful.
Anyway, at least we have our beloved Red Devils to cheer on once again. Our fixture list is starting to get a little tricky and next up, United head to Leicester City to take on Brendan Rodgers’ side.
Our task has been made much harder as there’s every chance Harry Maguire and Raphael Varane will both be sidelined. Obviously, that’s less than ideal, meaning our gaffer is forced into at least a couple of changes.
Anyway, let’s get right into the all-important team news…
Check out the predicted MUFC XI vs Leicester City here:
David de Gea starts this one in goal, with the Spaniard likely expecting a pretty busy afternoon here.
The back four is much-changed. Victor Lindelof and Eric Bailly come in for our injured duo of players. Honestly, there’s absolutely no telling how this one is going to go. Aaron Wan-Bissaka starts at the right-back position, with Luke Shaw getting the nod at the left-back slot.
Scott McTominay starts at the midfield’s base here, tasked with doing the dirty work and mopping up. Bruno Fernandes always starts when fit and that won’t change here. Paul Pogba moves back into midfield, in place of Fred.
Cristiano Ronaldo leads the line just as you’d expect, with Jadon Sancho starting off the left-wing. This would be an outstanding time for the Englishman to net his first goal. Mason Greenwood has been electric and no doubt that’ll continue here after a fortnight off.
