Our predicted MUFC XI for the game vs Leicester City is now in…

Manchester United Football Club have won their last two, putting the opening couple of matches firmly in the rear view mirror.

Erik ten Hag will be hoping to keep that ball rolling during a huge week for the Red Devils. First up, an away game against Leicester City, who on their day are capable of beating anyone.

The Old Trafford club will have to do it without Anthony Martial, who remains injured. Victor Lindelof could be fit to return.

Brendan Rodgers’ side have been tough to beat for United over the last few years, particularly at the King Power Stadium. This represents an excellent opportunity to right those wrongs.

Anyway, let’s get down into the all-important team news…

Check out our predicted MUFC XI vs Leicester City in full here:

David de Gea starts in between the sticks, with the Spaniard continuing to develop with the ball at his feet.

The back four absolutely should not change one bit. Diogo Dalot played his best game of the season against Southampton, while Tyrell Malacia has impressed on his two starts. Lisandro Martinez looks more than comfortable alongside Raphael Varane at the back.

Casemiro should come into the side for his full debut. He’ll replace Scott McTominay in that defensive midfield position. Christian Eriksen will sit deep alongside the Brazilian, tasked with moving the ball forward as quickly as possible. Bruno Fernandes starts in the number ten position as per usual.

Marcus Rashford will lead the line once again, in the absence of Anthony Martial. Jadon Sancho plays off the right-wing, with Anthony Elanga starting as the left-winger.

As per usual, they’ll be plenty of fire-power off the substitutes bench.
