Our predicted MUFC XI for the Premier League home game vs Leicester City is now in.

Games are coming thick and fast across four different competitions for Manchester United, with the Red Devils looking to keep up the pressure on the two sides above them in the table.

Erik ten Hag deserves credit for the work he’s done so far, though there’s still a long road ahead. This is a vital week for the Old Trafford side, starting with a game against Leicester City.

United simply have to win these types of matches at home, regardless of what sort of team they put out, though the game will be tricky.

Ten Hag has gone full strength for the most part, despite the temptation to rotate. We think he’ll continue to opt for a strong line-up at the Theatre of Dreams this weekend, so let’s get right into the team news.

Check out our predicted MUFC XI vs Leicester City in full here:

David de Gea always starts when fit, with the Spaniard playing really well of late.

The back four now has a familiar feel. Diogo Dalot is back fit following injury, looking to regain both fitness and confidence levels. Luke Shaw returns to a more familiar left-back position, with Lisandro Martinez partnering Raphael Varane at the heart of defence.

Casemiro is sadly still banned here, meaning Marcel Sabitzer will start his third league game in a row, alongside Fred. Bruno Ferandnes plays slightly further afield. He also wears the captain’s armband.

Wout Weghorst remains the only fit, natural striker in the playing squad, so the Austrian will get the start here. To his right and left respectively is Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford. Both of whom are playing well lately.
