Our predicted MUFC XI for the massive FA Cup home game vs Liverpool is now in…
Manchester United Football Club only have one chance at silverware remaining; the FA Cup.
This weekend, our fiercest rival comes to town. Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool visit Old Trafford on Sunday, during a game that’s going to be intense and filled with drama from the outset.
A win here would not only see United progress, but also end Liverpool’s hopes of winning an FA Cup during Klopp’s farewell tour.
Erik ten Hag will no doubt be feeling the pressure, as a defeat here could well mean the end of his time as manager when the summer rolls around.
Anyway, after much deliberation, we’ve drawn up our likely side for this massively important game, so let’s give you the full run down.
Check out our predicted MUFC XI vs Liverpool in full here:
Andre Onana starts in between the sticks, with the man from Cameroon playing far better since returning from AFCON.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka has returned to training this week, offering a timely boost in the full-back position. His inclusion means Diogo Dalot can switch over to the left-hand side of defence. Raphael Varane has looked immense of late so he will start, with Jonny Evans completing the side.
Casemiro will sit at the base of midfield, allowing Kobbie Mainoo to play in that box-to-box role. Bruno Fernandes always starts when fit.
Marcus Rashford will continue to lead the line here, with the Englishman the only fit, senior striker on the books as things stand. To his right and left respectively will be Antony and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
Come on lads!
