Our predicted MUFC XI for the Premier League away game vs Newcastle United is now in…

After a two-week break due to international football, Manchester United Football Club return this weekend. The game itself is going to be a tricky one, with the Red Devils heading North to take on Newcastle United.

No doubt Eddie Howe’s side have revenge on the mind after the Carabao Cup final, with United having to be at their best to grab any sort of positive result in this one.

Erik ten Hag’s man are winless in their last couple of Premier League games, which does add some pressure in the hunt for a place in the top four. Lose this one and Newcastle United will actually leapfrog us in the table.

Hopefully, the dressing room is heading into this one brimming with confidence, ready to finish the season strong. Anyway, let’s get right into it.

Check out our predicted MUFC XI vs Newcastle United in full here:

David de Gea starts this one in between the sticks, with the superstar Spaniard no doubt in for a busy afternoon here.

The back four, from right to left, starts with Aaron Wan-Bissaka. In the centre is Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane. This duo has turned into a real force this season. I trust them more than I have any centre-back in about a half-decade. Over on the left-hand side, Luke Shaw will play.

Casemiro is sadly suspended, so Fred gets the nod in that deeper-lying midfield role. Marcel Sabitzer was nursing some injury issues during the recent international break, though he did make the bench for Austria’s second game so he’s going to be fit enough. Bruno Fernandes plays in the number ten slot.

Wout Weghorst will lead the line here, as Anthony Martial continues to work his way back from injury. To his right and left respectively are both Antony and Marcus Rashford. This has turned into the first-choice front three over the last few games.
