Our predicted MUFC XI vs Real Betis is now in, as the Red Devils continue their pre-season tour.
Manchester United’s pre-season is now well underway. The Old Trafford club are building their fitness levels ahead of the Community Shield, which is now just about ten days away. It all starts again soon.
Results are secondary at this point, with individual fitness levels the number one priority. Of course, you’d like to see the lads win as it’s great for confidence. A narrow loss against Arsenal will have the lads wanting to bounce back strong here.
Predicting these tour starting XIs are never easy, though Erik ten Hag will now be looking to give his senior players as many minutes as possible. I suspect this is the first time where we’ll see footballers play for more than 45 minutes.
Anyway, after much deliberation, it’s time to unveil our starting line-up for this one…

Andre Onana starts in between the sticks, with the man from Cameroon looking to continue on from a decent game against Arsenal.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka may not be at the club for too much longer, though he will start here. Over on the left-hand side of defence, Harry Amass is given another chance to impress. Jonny Evans will play, alongside Rhys Bennett, who comes in for the injured Leny Yoro.
Casemiro has been struggling of late, so United need to give him as many minutes as possible, allowing him to try and fight through the slump. Toby Collyer adds some much-needed legs and energy to the midfield, with Mason Mount also given a start.
Rasmus Hojlund has overcome a knock in order to be fit to play here. To his right and left respectively will be Amad and Marcus Rashford. All three players are fighting for a spot in the opening day starting line-up at this time.
