Our predicted MUFC XI for the Europa League second leg vs Sevilla is now in…
Manchester United were in complete control of the first leg against Sevilla, looking comfortable at 2-0 up and playing well. However, a poor end to that game suddenly has this tie in the balance at 2-2.
The Red Devils head to Spain without their first-choice centre-back pairing, making this game a potentially difficult one. Factor in other injuries and Erik ten Hag’s squad is looking thin on the ground in several key areas.
Sevilla feel like our European bogey team at the moment, so this is a real opportunity for this dressing room to continue to prove they’re moving in the right direction.
Anyway, after much deliberation, we’ve drawn up our likely line-up for this Europa League quarter-final, so let’s get right into it.
Check out our predicted MUFC XI vs Sevilla in full here:

David de Gea will start in between the sticks here, during what is expected to be a busy return to his homeland.
At right-back, Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s defensive astuteness could certainly come in handy. Over on the left-hand side, I fully expect Diogo Dalot to continue. Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof played well over the weekend after some early jitters. Keep that momentum flowing.
Casemiro is one booking away from suspension in Europe, but we’re going to need the Brazilian to be at his best against an opponent he’ll know well. Christian Eriksen was as classy as ever against Forest. Let’s hope that continues here. Bruno Fernandes always starts when fit.
Anthony Martial definitely adds an extra dimension to this United attack. If he can stay fit, the Frenchman could prove to be a real asset. To his right and left respectively, Antony and Jadon Sancho start. Both have been regulars in recent weeks. They’re looking sharp.
