It seems like at the business end of any Europa League competition, Manchester United bump into Sevilla along the way.
The Spanish team have turned into a real bogey side for the Old Trafford club. This season, though, Erik ten Hag has exorcised many of the Reds’ demons. Let’s hope Sevilla are the next to fall in line.
The first leg takes place at Old Trafford today. It goes without saying, United absolutely have to take a positive result over to Seville for the away leg next week. That’s ging to be easier said than done, particularly without Marcus Rashford fit and available.
Anyway, after much deliberation, it’s time to bring you the line-up we believe Ten Hag will opt for later today.

David de Gea is always going to start for United in these big matches, so it should come as a surprise to nobody to see his name in the team-sheet here.
I’ve gone for Aaron Wan-Bissaka at right-back for his defensive capabilities. Sevilla will come to Old Trafford trying to play on the front foot. The Spider can stop them in their tracks. It’s Tyrell Malacia starting at left-back due to an injury to Luke Shaw. Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane is absolutely our best centre-back pairing. They’ll play.
Casemiro will be feeling super fresh following limited playing time of late. No doubt the Brazilian is ready and raring to go here. Scott McTominay starts alongside the Brazilian following his good form, with Bruno Fernandes starting in the #10 slot.
Anthony Martial is fit enough to start, per Ten Hag, so this is the perfect opportunity to get an hour under the belt and see how he looks. To his right and left respectively is Antony and Jadon Sancho. Both have looked in good shape of late.
