Our predicted MUFC XI vs Sheffield United is now in…
Manchester United are back! With a very winnable game against Sheffield United in the offing.
Nothing less than three points here will suffice, with the Red Devils and Erik ten Hag desperate to build some positive momentum and start stringing the wins together.
The story of the season so far has been injuries, with the gaffer working with what feels like half a squad at times. However, there can be no excuses ahead of our trip to Yorkshire.
Casemiro is a player who has been ruled out , which means they’ll be some tinkering required in the midfield area.
Anyway, let’s give you the full rundown of the predicted side for this one.
Check out our predicted MUFC XI vs Sheffield United here:
Andre Onana will keep his place in the line-up despite some glaring errors over the last few games. The man from Cameroon has an excellent mentality so I’m sure he will bounce back.
Diogo Dalot is the only fit right-back at present so this was an easy position to pick, while Sergio Reguilon is in training so his inclusion is a given. Victor Lindelof and Raphael Varane are the first-choice back two at present. It makes sense to give them their chance here.
The midfield looks a little different without Casemiro, though I genuinely believe Sofyan Amrabat can do that job to an excellent standard. Mason Mount will start in midfield alongside the man from Morocco. Bruno Fernandes will be tasked with creating chances and making things happen.
Rasmus Hojlund will be passed fit despite picking up a back problem against San Marino in midweek. To his right and left respectively will be Antony and Marcus Rashford.
Up the Reds!
