Our predicted MUFC XI for the game vs Sheriff is now in…

Manchester United Football Club are absolutely in a Europa League fight right now. The Red Devils lost at home to Real Sociedad, meaning it may well be tough to top their group.

Their penultimate game takes place tomorrow night against Sheriff – a Moldovan side that made it tough for us in the first encounter. The Reds won that game 2-0. They’ll be hoping to complete the double under the Old Trafford floodlights tomorrow.

With games now coming thick and fast, Erik ten Hag is no doubt considering some sort of rotation for this one. I believe we’ll see a few minor changes here or there, though we’re unlikely to see any drastic overhauls of the starting XI as that’s just not how this manager operates.

Anyway, with all that in mind, let’s take a deeper dive into the starting line-up for this one.

Check out our predicted MUFC XI vs Sheriff in full here:

David de Gea will continue to start in between the sticks, with Ten Hag really yet to stray away from the Spaniard in goal this season.

The back four does change. Tyrell Malacia comes into the side, giving Luke Shaw a well-earned rest. Over on the right, Diogo Dalot plays as he’s the only viable option who is match fit. Lisandro Martinez has been excellent this season. He’ll partner Victor Lindelof at the heart of defence.

Alright, so this midfield duo still gives me the fear. I do think we’ll go with the Fred and Scott McTominay double pivot, with Bruno Fernandes starting in that number ten position. He’ll also captain the lads.

Cristiano Ronaldo is out of the doghouse. He trained with his United teammates yesterday and is looking good for a start here. Jadon Sancho will start in a more familiar right-back slot, with Marcus Rashfor moving over to his favourite left-wing position.

Come on you Reds!
