Our predicted MUFC XI for the Premier League away game vs Spurs is now in…
Manchester United arguably play their most important Premier League game this Thursday. The Old Trafford side take on Tottenham Hotspur, with a chance to put some genuine distance between ourselves and the team best-placed to break into the current top four.
The North London side will be boosted after recently sacking their managed, making this a tougher game than we’d typically expect. That said, Spurs away is always pretty difficult.
Erik ten Hag is helped by the return of Harry Maguire, who is no longer suspended. There are doubts about Bruno Fernandes’ fitness, but we expect he’ll play through the pain barrier in order to help his teammates.
Anyway, after much deliberation, our predicted line-up is in, with United looking to secure a huge three points away from home in this one. So let’s dive right into it.
Check out our predicted MUFC XI vs Spurs in full here:
David de Gea was better at the weekend, so hopefully, he’s feeling more confident going into this one. We’re going to need him.
Diogo Dalot will be brought into the team for his attacking capabilities here, with United looking to play on the front foot. Luke Shaw reverts to a more familiar left-back role. Harry Maguire returns to the side, partnering Victor Lindelof, who was outstanding at Wembley.
Casemiro gets the nod as he’s rebuilding the match fitness, with Christian Eriksen also in a similar position. Bruno Fernandes will start despite his injury. This midfield three have never lost a game when starting together.
Anthony Martial will lead the line here, with Marcus Rashford and Antony to his right and left respectively. This is probably our best front three at this moment in time.
