Our predicted MUFC XI vs Tottenham Hotspur is now in, with the Red Devils looking to return to winning ways after back-to-back draws.
Manchester United sit eleventh in the Premier League table at present, albeit still very early days in the season. Erik ten Hag’s side seem to have a clearer style of play this term, though the results haven’t followed in line.
This weekend, United have a chance to silence some doubters, by beating a Tottenham Hotspur team who can go toe-to-toe with anyone on their day. Make no mistake about it, this game will not be easy.
Suddenly, United have a somewhat deep squad which does pose plenty of selection dilemmas for the gaffer. Will he go with Rasmus Hojlund? Does Manuel Ugarte start? What about Amad?
Well, we’ve drawn up the side we reckon Ten Hag will opt for here, so let’s give you the full rundown.
Check out our predicted MUFC XI in full here:
Andre Onana starts in between the sticks as per usual, with the man from Cameroon looking to continue his pretty good start to the season.
Noussair Mazraoui continues at right-back as he too has been brilliant to start this campaign. Diogo Dalot gets the nod in the left-back position as he’s the only viable option out there at present. Matthijs de Ligt starts at the heart of defence alongside Lisandro Martinez.
Casemiro could use this game as a real personal confidence-booster, sitting in alongside Kobbie Mainoo. Both will be feeling well rested. Bruno Fernandes always starts when fit and he will be hoping to bounce back.
Joshua Zirkzee continues to lead the line as Hojlund’s fitness levels gradually improve. To his right and left respectively, both Alejandro Garnacho and Marcus Rashford start.
Come on lads!!
