Predicted MUFC XI vs Watford (Premier League home, 2021/22)

Our predicted MUFC XI for our game vs Watford is now in…

It’s fair to say that Manchester United’s overall form has actually been pretty decent of late – despite the fact there have been some sub-per performances.

Credit must go to Ralf Rangnick and his coaching staff, who clearly has this talented group of footballers believing in themselves once again.

Week-in-week-out it feels like we’re improving steadily. Today’s game against Watford is another test for our Red Devils. No doubt we’ll have to play something close to our best to avenge the 4-1 defeat suffered by Watford earlier this season.

Anyway, let’s get right into the all-important team news…

Check out our predicted MUFC XI vs Watford in full here:

Picking the goalkeeper is easy. David de Gea always starts when fit and there’s no reason to change that here.

Diogo Dalot will likely come back into the team in the right-back position, during a game we’re going to need his attacking ability. Over on the left, Luke Shaw continues to start. Raphael Varane will get the nod alongside club captain Harry Maguire.

Fred will start in that deep midfield role with Scott McTominay sidelined, while the other two midfielders pretty much pick themselves. Both Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba have been in inspired form over the last few weeks. Let’s hope that continues today.

Cristiano Ronaldo is another given in the starting XI, particularly as Edinson Cavani is dealing with his own injury issues. On the right and left respectively is Jadon Sancho and Anthony Elanga.

Come on you Reds!
