Our predicted MUFC XI for the FA Cup home game vs West Ham United is now in…

Manchester United haven’t really been provided the luxury of time to celebrate their Carabao Cup win, with the Red Devils right back at it this midweek. West Ham United come to town in the FA Cup – another competition where the Old Trafford side have an excellent chance at silverware.

With little time to overthink things, the lads will be ready and raring to go come kick-off time on Wednesday evening, with Erik ten Hag’s side keen to continue their excellent form and momentum.

Make no mistake about it, this will be a rather difficult tie against a side who are playing some decent football of late. No doubt we’ll see a little bit of rotation from the gaffer, though largely, we’d expect to see the same spine of players continue to start games.

Anyway, let’s get right into the all-important team news.

Check out our predicted MUFC XI vs West Ham in full here:

David de Gea will start in between the sticks here, with the Spaniard looking to continue his good individual form.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka was excellent in that second 45 against Newcastle over the weekend. He should be rewarded with the chance to start here. Over on the left-hand side, it makes sense to bring Tyrell Malaca back in. Raphael Varane doesn’t start every game these days, so Harry Maguire will partner Lisandro Martinez.

Marcel Sabitzer’s cameo at the weekend was impressive, so let’s see how he fares alongside Casemiro across 90 minutes, with Bruno Fernandes playing just further up the pitch.

Wout Weghorst‘s streak of starting every game since moving to United will continue here, with the English duo of Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho starting on either wing.
