Predicted MUFC XI vs West Ham (Premier League away, 2021/22)

After much deliberating, our predicted MUFC XI vs West Ham United is now in…

Manchester United didn’t have the best of times last time out. A 2-1 loss to Young Boys hurt, though the Red Devils should still come through their group.

Attention now turns back to the Premier League. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side head to London, to go toe-to-toe with a West Ham United side who are more than capable of beating anyone on their day.

With that in mind, it’s up to our Red Devils to be at their absolute best. They’ll have to work together as a team to secure any sort of positive result this Sunday.

Our Baby Faced Assassin does have a few team news decisions to make, though it should be pretty straightforward here…

Check out our predicted MUFC XI vs West Ham United in full here:

David de Gea starts in between the sticks which is almost a given at this point, particularly with Dean Henderson still working back to fitness.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka starts at right-back, in a game where he’ll be looking to make up for his sending off on Tuesday. Luke Shaw starts in the left-back slot, with the Englishman in top form. Our new centre-back pairing of Harry Maguire and Raphael Varane are still learning each other’s style, though they’ll both get the nod on Sunday.

Scott McTominay is welcomed back into the side following surgery. This is a massive team news lift for United, who dearly missed our Scotland international of late. Bruno Fernandes always starts when fit, while Fred definitely did enough to keep his place in the side after a good display in midweek.

Cristiano Ronaldo continues to lead the line. He has three goals in two starts for United. Mason Greenwood plays in the right-back slot, with Paul Pogba making up the team.

There’s plenty of quality going to be available off the substitutes bench if needed. Hopefully, we’ve got enough firepower within the starting XI to get the job done.
