Our predicted Premier League XI vs Wolves is now in, with a crucial 2022/23 home game looming.
Suddenly, Manchester United have placed an awful lot of pressure upon themselves to finish inside the top four. Back-to-back losses, two goals in our last three. It’s not good enough.
The away form has been the real down point of the season, though with three home games left, the maths is simple. Win all three and you’re in the top four. It starts with a rare 3 o’clock Saturday home kick-off to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Our visitors this weekend have nothing left to play for. They’re comfortably in mid-table, with Premier League survival all-but secure for another season. They’re too far away to make a European push, so for them, it’s just closing out the season and focusing on next time. With that in mind, United shoud have all the motivation in this one.
Anyway, without further ado, let’s get right into our predicted United team for this massively important encounter.
Check out our predicted MUFC XI vs Wolves in full here:

David de Gea will start in between the sticks here, with the Spaniard looking to bounce back after his horror show in midweek. Let’s hope his confidence hasn’t taken a hit…
Aaron Wan-Bissaka plays at right-back. His form has been excellent recently. Diogo Dalot has done a decent enough job filling in at left-back. That trend will continue here. Luke Shaw and Victor Lindelof have formed quite the partnership at the heart of defence.
Casemiro and Christian Eriksen is now the customary two-man midfield that we’re seeing on a regular basis, with Bruno Fernandes being deployed just ahead of these two.
Marcus Rashford starts on the left-wing, with Antony getting the nod over on the right. Anthony Martial leads the line. This is probably our best front three right now, but let’s just see how they get on during this one…
