Our Red Devils begin their Champions League campaign tonight but before that, it’s time for our all-important predicted MUFC XI vs Young Boys.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Premier League campaign has kicked off nicely, scooping ten points from a possible twelve and looking pretty decent in the process.
However, we’re now at the stage in the season where the games begin to come thick and fast. The Champions League starts up this midweek, with the Carabao Cup following in seven days time.
Before our West Ham United double-header, the 20-time Premier League champions head to Bern, to take on the Young Boys.
The squad news was confirmed yesterday and we’ve done our best to decipher what sort of side Solskjaer will put out.
Check out our predicted MUFC XI vs Young Boys in full here:

David de Gea will likely keep his place in between the sticks, though I wouldn’t be wholly surprised if Tom Heaton comes into the side.
The back four looks a little different, with a couple of key faces rested. Luke Shaw plays at left-back, while Diogo Dalot will get the nod over on the right-hand side. Harry Maguire will start and captain the side, with Victor Lindelof coming back into the starting line-up.
Last week, Donny van de Beek made it clear he can play in that deeper role if needed, so why not try that out here? Fred will play just ahead of him as a box-to-box midfielder, with Bruno Fernandes getting the nod.
Anthony Martial needs some minutes in the tank so he’ll lead the line here. Juan Mata will make his first start of the 2021/22 campaign, with Jadon Sancho likely to be given another chance to shine.
As per usual, the bench will be jam-packed with quality but here’s to hoping we don’t need them!
