Manchester United have made it to Bavaria and will train in the Allianz Arena ahead of their Champions League quarter-final second leg. The lads seemed in good spirit, and we’ve been greeted with the news that star man Wayne Rooney will be available for the game as he’s willing to play with an injection.
Marouane Fellaini, Rafael and Jonny Evans have all remained at home due to injuries, whereas Ryan Giggs could return after a knock he picked up in the home leg against Bayern.
Personally I think Moyes will go there and try to contain the Bayern attack, similarly to how we did at Old Trafford a week ago. Pace on the counter will be crucial, hence why Welbeck and Valencia simply have to start.
Starting XI
De Gea; Jones, Ferdinand, Vidic, Buttner; Carrick, Fletcher, Kagawa; Valencia, Welbeck, Rooney.
