Manchester United head South for FA Cup action in a rare Friday night evening kickoff tomorrow, with Louis van Gaal’s men looking for a spot in the fifth round of the cup. It has been a while since we’ve seen a decent cup run at United, having not won the competition in over ten years now.
I expect the Iron Tulip will go for a blend of youth and experience, whilst also giving a couple of debuts to new faces within the senior squad. Victor Valdes is certain to start, whereas the talented Brazilian Andreas Pereira also staking a claim for his first competitive start.
Marouane Fellaini will get a start, as will Ander Herrera and Luke Shaw who both missed out last time. Januzaj should play in the ‘#10 role’, with Wayne Rooney partnering James Wilson up top.
Predicted line-up
Valdes; Rafael, McNair, Blackett, Shaw; Fellaini, Herrera, Pereira; Januzaj, Rooney, Wilson.
