Predicted Starting XI: Crystal Palace v Manchester United

Manchester United head to London to take on Crystal Palace this afternoon, with Louis van Gaal looking to continue United’s good league form in one of the trickier away fixtures on the calendar. After a brutal 120 minute battle at home to Boro in the cup we could see plenty of changes for this one.

David de Gea will obviously be restored in goal, but the big surprise omission could be Chris Smalling who has played every competitive minute of football this season. By the end of the game in midweek he looked dead on his feet, so we could see him sit this one out.

Morgan Schneiderlin and Bastian Schweinsteiger will both return, with Louis van Gaal also re-calling the front four of Juan Mata, Ander Herrera, Anthony Martial and Wayne Rooney – none of which played a full game.

Predicted XI

De Gea; Darmian, Jones, Blind, Rojo; Schneiderlin, Schweinsteiger; Mata, Herrera, Martial, Rooney.
