Predicted Starting XI: Man Utd vs Arsenal

Manchester United have a slim chance of catching Arsenal and earn their way into the Champions League group stage proper, and Louis van Gaal will be keen to claw back another three points on The Gunners with a victory over Wenger’s side this weekend.

Ahead of the game, Van Gaal has a slight selection dilemma on his hands, and his club captain Wayne Rooney has been ruled out of the game, along with his England teammate Luke Shaw.

That presents an opportunity for Marcos Rojo to get back involved, and it also gives a chance to Robin van Persie, who’s form has been extremely questionable of late.

At the end of the day, Van Gaal is extremely limited in terms of options, but United have sealed a spot in the top four now so they can go out there and play a free-flowing attacking game that’ll be exciting to watch.

Starting XI

De Gea; Valencia, Smalling, Jones, Rojo; Blind, Fellaini, Herrera; Mata, Young, Van Persie
