Predicted Starting XI: Manchester United v Southampton

Manchester United Football Club take on Southampton tomorrow, as the old foes Ronald Koeman and Louis van Gaal lock horns once again. Ahead of the eagerly anticipated clash, we’ve had a closer look at the potential starting line-up for the game.

David de Gea will obviously continue in goal, but he’ll have an inexperienced left-back in the form of Cameron Borthwick-Jackson in front of him, due to Ashley Young’s long-term injury.

Michael Carrick could come back into the starting line-up alongside Morgan Schneiderlin at the expense of Marouane Fellaini. Bastian Schweinsteiger will miss out due to an ongoing knee problem.

Anthony Martial will be shifted to the right-wing to accommodate Memphis Depay’s return to the team. Ander Herrera will continue in the #10 role, with Wayne Rooney starting as the lone striker.

Check out the XI here:

De Gea; Darmian, Smalling, Blind, Borthwick-Jackson; Schneiderlin, Carrick; Martial, Herrera, Depay, Rooney.
