Manchester United and Manchester City will go head-to-head tomorrow, as Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola will face-off for the first time in charge of English teams. In an eagerly-anticipated game, the red half of the city will be looking to come out on top to throw a marker down.
The game will go ahead in some brutal conditions, with torrential rain coming down heavy in China at the moment. Hopefully, we won’t see the match abandoned.
Ahead of the game, Mourinho will be looking to work his way towards a likely starting line-up for the Premier League opener next month. That isn’t as easy as it sounds though, particularly with some players still on holiday.
We should see a very similar line-up to last time around, which includes another start for the likes of new-boys Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Eric Bailly. I’d also like Marcus Rashford to grab some game-time, so he can show Mourinho exactly what he is capable of.
Check out the predicted XI here:
Romero; Fosu-Mensah, Jones, Bailly, Shaw; Herrera, Blind; Mkhitaryan, Lingard, Depay; Rashford.
