Manchester United continue their quest for a spot in the top four with a potentially tricky home game against Ronald Koeman’s Southampton. This is the second time these sides have met within a month, and it’ll certainly prove to be a close game.
United currently sit a solitary point above tomorrow’s opponents in the league table, and with a win they’ll make that gap a little less likely to be closed as we go into the important half of the Premier League campaign.
In terms of the team selection, Louis van Gaal has a fully fit squad [minus Ashley Young] available at his disposal, and although some players aren’t 100% fit, this is the best shape the squad has been in since the start of the season.
De Gea; Valencia, Jones, Evans, Shaw; Carrick, Herrera, Rooney; Mata, Falcao, Van Persie
