Manchester United’s hopes of finishing in the top four took a turn for the worst last time out, with many of Van Gaal’s closest rivals closing the gap at the top. United sit in fourth place at the moment, and a much-needed three points is certainly in order tomorrow.
Louis van Gaal has just one injury problem, his star striker Robin van Persie will be out of action for about a month. That means Wayne Rooney will start up front, and there could well be one final chance for Radamel Falcao.
The rest of the XI pretty much picks itself, as Chris Smalling, Marcos Rojo and Luke Shaw continue at the back after putting in some impressive performances. Ander Herrera, Daley Blind and Marouane Fellaini will make up the midfield.
Starting XI
De Gea; Rafael, Smalling, Rojo, Shaw; Blind, Fellaini, Herrera, Di Maria; Rooney, Falcao
