Manchester United lost their Champions League opener a fortnight ago, as Louis van Gaal and his squad were dealt a further blow as Luke Shaw suffered a broken leg. The team must put that behind them and fast, and pick up all three points here to keep pace with the rest of the group.
With a huge game against Arsenal coming up at the weekend, Van Gaal will clearly have one eye on that fixture, knowing he has to go strong here for tomorrow night’s game too.
De Gea will obviously continue in goal, with Chris Smalling and Daley Blind in-behind him. Here comes one change, Antonio Valencia missed training today, so Ashley Young will come in at left-back and Darmian will switch over to the right.
Morgan Schneiderin will start alongside Bastian Schweinsteiger, with the usual front four of Juan Mata, Wayne Rooney, Memphis Depay and Anthony Martial leading the line.
