Manchester United could go top of the Barclays Premier League if other results go their way today, as Louis van Gaal prepares his side to face off against Dick Advocaat’s Sunderland team who are in dire straits at this moment in time.
That said, we cannot underestimate the opposition at any costs, and we have to go as strong as possible. David de Gea starts in goal with a back four of Matteo Darmian, Chris Smalling, Daley Blind and Ashley Young in front of him.
Both Morgan Schneiderlin and Michael Carrick were rested midweek, so they’ll probably be the midfield two, with the attacking foursome of Memphis Depay, Wayne Rooney, Juan Mata and Anthony Martial leading the line.
Despite having a few injuries this team should be more than capable of getting a win at home, and hopefully Spurs can do us a favour in the early kick-off.
