Manchester United head to Wales this afternoon, to take on a Swansea City side who are struggling for form themselves. Jose Mourinho desperately needs a win here, and three points this weekend is definitely a good way to head into the forthcoming international break.
The gaffer has sprung a few surprises in terms of the team selection. Ashley Young gets a start at left-back as Luke Shaw doesn’t even make the squad. The forgotten man in Phil Jones is also included, as Daley Blind drops to the bench.
Wayne Rooney, Juan Mata and Zlatan Ibrahimovic start as the front three, with Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford on the bench. Henrikh Mkhitaryan doesn’t even make the squad.
Check out the starting eleven here:
De Gea, Young, Jones, Rojo, Darmian, Carrick, Pogba, Fellaini, Mata, Rooney, Ibrahimovic.
Subs: Romero, Blind, Fosu-Mensah, Lingard, Schneiderlin, Martial, Rashford
